Summary: First of all, our host was very accommodating. She allowed us into the property earlier than the check in time and offered advice about our stay. The property was further from Zadar than we realised. I think the description is a bit misleading as it says the property is located in Zadar Centre, however, the bus service is just outside on the main road; it’s frequent and cheap. If using a taxi, go for Uber or Bolt, local taxi service is extortionate! The photos on the website make the property look better than it is. On the surface the property appeared clean, but the attention to detail was terrible: Broken coat hangers (just get new ones or throw them out!) Silly stick on plastic hooks for towels (2 fell off during our stay). Cheap furnishings, lamps etc. The couch in the living area was stained and smelled awful (it needs replaced or deep cleaned) The worst thing was the pillow's in the bedrooms. They were paper thin, lumpy and terribly stained, completely unacceptable (we slept with towels placed over the pillows). I suppose we should have asked for them to be replaced but regardless, those pillows should never have been used in the first place. Also the mattresses were very uncomfortable, mattress toppers would be a good idea. The shower room has a drain problem, the smell is terrible. The accommodation is very basic which is fine. You can have basic accommodation whilst still paying attention to detail, it would make all the difference.
