The house sleeps 4 people and has been thoughtfully decorated throughout. Although the exterior is traditional, the interiors are light yet cosy and full of natural textures – parquet floors, wooden beams, brick stoves and terracotta tiles. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen, with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and kettle. Large French windows lead from the kitchen onto a small covered terrace into the large garden. Next to the kitchen is a dining table and chairs as well as a cosy sitting area with a sofa and coffee table.
The first floor is reached by an external staircase and includes a charming sitting room with a corner sofa, armchairs, flatscreen TV and wood-burning stove. The room is light and airy thanks to the French windows, which lead out onto a covered balcony, with a table and chairs, where guests can relax and look out over the secluded gardens.
Tucked away at the back of the living room there is a double bed with a separate bathroom. A ladder leads up to the second bedroom, which is on a mezzanine above.
The cottage has a separate summer house, complete with a jacuzzi, which is the perfect place for relaxing in peace or enjoying a long, lazy meal with friends, cooked on the large brick grill and eaten at the rustic wooden table. If this is too much, then there is a hammock nearby.
