Positive: The villa was clean and well-maintained, with clean rooms and plenty of facilities to keep you entertained during a staycation. While it’s located away from the coast, having a car makes this no issue at all. There’s a small supermarket close by, though it doesn’t stock everything , the next one one is about 11 km away. The kitchen was equipped with basic utensils and condiments, and the owner kindly provided coal for the barbecue. There were also plenty of board games (though all in Croatian) and other fun activities to enjoy.

Negative: There are a few things future guests should be aware of before booking. No reliable Wi-Fi: While there is a modem, the network is extremely poor, making it almost impossible to connect. For guests from non-EU countries who rely on room Wi-Fi, this can be a major inconvenience, so personal arrangements for internet are recommended. We faced significant trouble due to this. Bedroom/bathroom setup: We booked for 8 people (4 couples), expecting 4 bedrooms with 4 private bathrooms as listed. In reality, only 3 bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms. The 4th bedroom was a very small space, more like a storage room attached to one of the bedrooms, and it shared a bathroom. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms shared one bathroom, and the 4th bathroom was located downstairs in the kids’ play area. This setup was not mentioned to us and caused unnecessary confusion. We ended up rotating rooms to make it fair for everyone. Pool description: The property does not have a swimming pool, but rather a jacuzzi/hot tub with swimming currents. It’s perfect for relaxing with friends, but not suitable if you’re looking for a proper swim. Location: The villa is quite far from prime spots, restaurants, and cafes, so a car is essential.
