It has been a special concern of the owners and builders to create a vacation domicile made of natural building materials such as stone and wood, but which at the same time could meet the expectations and demands for modernity, exclusivity and comfort. With the use of quarry stone in the exterior and natural stones of the sun terrace enclosing the pool or the covered terrace at the house, they have fulfilled this requirement for themselves and for the visitors.
The private property framed by a small natural stone wall or cypress trees offers carefree play for your children, who can let off steam here. Meanwhile, on the wonderfully comfortable deck chairs or pool loungers, you can finally devote yourself to the exciting reading of a good book or find time to talk with friends. The beautiful private pool with a depth of 1.40 m is a nice cooling for young and old. Speaking of cooling off: even after an infusion in the Finnish sauna, which is located on the first floor of the house, the pool or outdoor shower are a more than pleasant way to cool off! Next to the sauna on the first floor are the open-plan common areas such as the kitchen and living room.
The only other enclosed space is one of the four bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and exit to the garden.
The common living and dining area features easy-to-clean large-format tiles in a cream shade that very gently matches the light-colored walls and cozy sofa area. This design with earthy tones is in keeping with the character of the house, while the pop colors of contemporary art on the walls add colorful, friendly accents. Naturalness and comfort also means providing cozy lounges for visitors, creating communicative spaces while preserving the need for privacy. In this open area is a white country kitchen fully equipped (fridge-freezer, stove at a pleasantly high level, separate hotplates in the wooden countertop, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and much more). At the dark dining table with comfortable dining chairs there is also a place for a baby high chair. From the open entrance we now reach the upper floor, here the desire for the already cited privacy is fulfilled. Three wonderfully brightly designed bedrooms, cozy with wooden flooring and ample storage space, air conditioning, LCD TV and 2 more modern shower bathrooms promise restful sleep and pleasant rest. Another really beautifully designed lounge area is the covered terrace at the house. There is a brick barbecue for wonderful BBQ evenings, later the grill can also be used as a fireplace. At the large dining table all fellow travelers find a place. Enjoy a good glass of Istrian red or white wine with friends and your vacation. In whatever constellation you may travel, the villa offers the same comfort to two friendly families as to a motley group of friends or friendly couples who want to spend the vacation together. On the property there is ample parking for your rental cars. Even though the villa is located only 30 km from Pula airport, you should have a rental car to explore the great surroundings of Istria.
On your excursions, enjoy the enchanting nature with sometimes almost mythological landscape, rich natural sights and spectacular views.
Visit the surrounding historical places such as Barban, Pazin, Svetvinčenat or Motovun. All roads lead to Žminj - so they say in Istria. The pretty village, which is only 8 km away, is the central Istrian intersection of all roads, so the villa and all the sights are easily accessible from here. With a bit of luck, you can even attend theater or jazz festivals against a historical backdrop or pay a visit to an authentic village festival.
