Summary: This property in Zrnovnica has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, an open plan lounge/well equipped kitchen and a private pool with a garage area with table tennis table and bats, balls for entertaining children of all ages!The property is well kept and clean especially the pool and the addition of an area for children in the shade of trees is a bonus. As a family with 3 generations the property suited our needs, quiet seated areas for relaxing, the pool for active young people and a play area ,and an outdoor barbeque oven. The owner had provided a welcome pack for us as we were arriving on a late flight so this was much appreciated. We did have contact with the owner by phone at intervals through the holiday as needed and a laundry change 1/2 way through our stay was lovely. In the surrounding area there are lots of activities for all ages. We found a paddle boarding facility and a nearby play-park/ beach area. We had a lovely drive to Trogir which has plenty of coves for swimming if you get bored sightseeing. We visited the Park at KRKA and it was good for walking, sightseeing and swimming so we went back twice . We took the ferry to Hvar from Split harbour. At Hvar there is an option to sea kayak to the other islands and there are fortresses to visit and the ferry trip itself although basic , is a pleasant sightseeing trip.The island views are amazing and the town square itself is pretty. Split old town is lovely but it is very busy at Diocletians palace but it is definitely worth a visit with its narrow streets and polished cobbles, we walked along the seafront most evenings and there is plenty of shopping to be had and lots of places to eat. We did have good service in Toro Grill bar and went here twice as it was very tasty. Our only issue with the accommodation was the hob which seemed to set off a trip in the electrical system but this was dealt with very promptly by the owner and their son. Our son in law who is a fireman did request the provision of a smoke alarm and heat alarm from the owner as the property is for public rental and she quickly provided these which my son in law was happy to fit for her. Overall this is a beautiful property and well worth the cost as it accommodated all our needs.
