Labin is the historical and administrative center of eastern Istria. It is a beautiful medieval town, rich in history but not very crowded with tourists. The steep, winding streets of the old town are home to well-preserved historic palaces, art galleries and ateliers. Various jazz and classical music festivals take place in the summer months. As the town is situated on a hill, it has a charming view of the old town on the beach - Rabac. Rabac used to be an old fishing village, today it offers beautiful beaches and many restaurants.
If you like to stay active on vacation, there are many hiking and biking trails in the area. There are also organized events such as gastro bike tours.
If you don't mind crowds of tourists, visit the beautiful ancient city of Pula (approx. 45 km) with its famous amphitheater and arena, accompanied by many events.
