Positive: We spent a fantastic week at the Stone House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and cleverly divided into two wings, which worked perfectly for our group of six. The large open-plan kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was just the right size for relaxing, and the garden is beautifully maintained. Its remote location made it wonderfully peaceful, yet it was also a great base for day trips – we visited Rovinj, Pula, Motovun, and several beaches with ease. The hosts, Ana and Mathew were thoughtful, responsive, and always available when needed.

Negative: If there’s one small point for improvement: one piece of furniture near the staircase leading to the two bedrooms in the right wing was broken and should ideally be replaced. Also, a few screws in the kitchen floor were sticking out slightly in places. Not a major issue, but something to be aware of. Otherwise, everything was top-notch – especially the generously sized bathroom in the left wing, which was a real highlight.

Summary: We highly recommend the place!
