Next to the historical UNESCO protected city of Trogir in central Dalmatia lies a small, but beautiful island of Ciovo, rich with untouched nature and hidden beaches. Ciovo is also connected to the mainland with a bridge and perfectly situated in the vicinity of Trogir (2km), Split (25km) and Split airport (5km).
Trogir is a medieval city, surrounded by walls, which consists of preserved castle, tower and series of houses and palaces from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Trogir is connected to all major European cities by its well-organised infrastructure of air, road, and maritime companies. Airport Split is only 5km away, which makes Trogir an ideal holiday destination. The nearby city of Split, the second largest city in Croatia and the capital of Dalmatia is just 30 minutes of driving away and offers many musical and cultural manifestations, as well as its most prominent sight – the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian, around which the city was built.
Island Ciovo consists of small traditional Dalmatian villages, one of which is Okrug Gornji, which has everything needed for a nice and relaxing family vacation, such as beautiful pebble beaches with shallow areas, various restaurants and taverns with great offer of Dalmatian specialties and domestic vine, beach bars, grocery shops, ATM machines and a post office.
