The space
Eco-shelter is made by stone and wood, materials found and picked from nature . Made by using new technology and old knowledge specific to this area.
It is situated on an ancient vineyard-terrace, surrounded by pine trees and 15 m distance to the sea. Enjoy the beautiful sea-view and colorful sunsets!
Accommodation for 4 people in deep shade with two separate bedrooms. Ergonomic beds, pillows and blankets are protected by mosquito nets. Illumination is made from sustainable sources. Everything is furnished with handy craft equipment .
There is an own dry toilet and simple shower.
A little camping-fridge keeps your drinks and snacks cool.
Important to know:
It is NOT possible to cook in the cottage!
Any open fire is NOT allowed!
Therefore we recommend you to order the "chill-out-package" (breakfast + dinner) in advance in our restaurant!
Following the romantic promenade along the coast and the beautiful beach you reach the main house and restaurant.

The neighborhood
The Island Bisevo is worldwide known for its famous Blue Cave. Less known is that there are 25 different beautiful caves and ravines.
Nature is preserved, due to many years of isolation.
This island is part of the European Ecological Network "Natura 2000" as the area with the highest biodiversity.
Majority people do fishing, vineyards and agriculture.
Getting around
Take the ferry from Split to Vis!
If you are coming by car: we recommend you to park your car in Split!
The ticket for your car on the ferry is very expensive. It is better to use the local bus or a taxi to get from Vis to Komiza.
In the harbour of Komiza you can hire a Taxi-boat or use the local line to Bisevo.
We are located in SALBUNARA-BAY. This is the second stop if you come with the local line.
From the pier follow the path 100m uphill and on the first crossroad you are just in front of the restaurant/reception!

Biševo is the furthest inhabited island on the Adriatic sea.
There are no shops, no cash machine and no running water!
Please bring your own drinking water with you!!
