This house more than 100 years old with a taverna and a 1000m² plot of land was completely renovated and modernised by the owners. It is in Viskovo, 20 minutes from Opatija. The holiday house is a perfect starting point for exploring Croatia, Italy or Slovenia and is ideal for families or a group of friends.
The house has two furnished balconies that invite you to sit and relax. In front of the taverna there is a third terrace furnished with a wooden seating group and overlooking the garden. The garden provides plenty of space to play and toys are available. There are five parking spaces on the partially fenced site.
The pleasantly decorated house with 100m² of living space can accommodate eight people. It has two modern bathrooms with a shower and a toilet. There are four bedrooms, each with a double bed. The centrepiece of the house is the spacious living room with exposed wooden beams on the ceiling, comprising a sitting area with a big corner sofa, a dining space and a kitchen. The modern built-in kitchen is fully-equipped. The living room has air conditioning, but it is rarely used, as even in summer the stone house has a pleasant temperature. On the ground floor there is a rustic taverna with its own separate toilet. Here you can grill and enjoy sitting together. Firewood is available free of charge.
It is less than a 15-minute drive to the nearest beach in Preluk, which is very popular with windsurfers. There is a fitness studio 200 metres from the house. In the town centre 800 metres away you can find restaurants, bars, supermarkets and the tourist information office, basically everything you need for your holiday. Organised walks suitable for all ages through the forested landscape , with a view of Kvarner Bay, are also offered locally.
