Positive: The house awell as the gardened grounds and surroundings are very specious and big. You actually have tiny ocean-view from the upper balcony that provides beautiful sundowns. Due to the heatwave our host came by the first evening to set up a sun-umbrella, which was very considerate and helpful. The Wifi and the tv were working surprisingly perfect! The host was welcoming and easy to reach via WhatsApp.

Negative: - all communication in advance was involving a third party that is not the nice host, but an agency. my requests have been either ignored or responded to with automatically generated responses that didn't match my messages. the "contact number" shared in the booking details was apparently connected to the same agency, hence, obviously my messages via WhatsApp have not been responded to since (it's been roughly two month) - there was no private parking spot, despite the parking spot mentioned in the information while booking. looking for a parking spot was always very stressful and not so easy, which is very unfortunate in a hidden town like this, where you do need a car to be able to stay there (no possibilities to shop anything in this town) - overall the house was not very clean, very dark and a lot of lightbulbs did not work and small things were broken. there was an awful smell in both bathrooms, which is very likely coming from its seldom usage but still very unsettling. - the toilet seat broke on the second day, along with the toilet lit. It was not being replaced during our stay. - it was not clear to us (despite the ground-plans being shared here) that both bathrooms are in the ground floor, which means leaving the bedroom at night is only possible when using the stairs, however, all lights in the bedroom and foyer are broken, hence, it was always an adventure going to the toilet when it was dark outside. - the town is a bit scary and the overall atmosphere was a little bit creepy, the beach is not to be recommended (especially not by car) which is not the hosts fault, but having an almost dark house does not help. - the lock at the front door is very hard to handle! we had to call the host when we have tried to leave the house for the first time since we couldn't lock the door and were afraid to break the lock. it was a challenge until the last day, but since the host did show us all the tricks we have managed
