South of the town lies Cape Kamenjak: a protected landscape, 9.5 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres wide, with a total of 30 kilometres of rugged coastline. In no other place in the world is the sea as blue-green and clean as here, at the southernmost tip of Istria. There are numerous rocky beaches and pebbly bays. Outside there is a beautifully manicured garden with a private pool and a large, covered dining area with a built-in barbecue.
