The island is easily accessible by taxi boat from the port of Hvar, in just 10-15 min. navigation you arrive already at the ACI MARINA of Palmižana. Once the reservation is made it is possible
request an optional transfer service Hvar / Palmižana / Hvar, the cost is
12 EUR / one way / person (0-8 years free) and is payable locally with cash or credit card (no Amex).
The closest airport is in Split.
The villa is located in the Meneghello Resort, and is surrounded by a beautiful one
Mediterranean vegetation and a wonderful view of the south bay of Palmižana.
The interiors are rich in colors and outside the large terrace there
will allow you to enjoy the sunny summer days and romantic starry skies.
Inside you will find paintings and sculptures that are part of the private collection of the
owner who for 50 years has collected the works of the most famous
Croatian artists as well as having created the arboretum in which the entire resort is immersed.

For safety reasons, cooking is strictly prohibited, as the island is very lush,
but our guests can eat at the renowned Meneghello restaurant, which is located less than 100 meters from the villa, with a special treatment.
The restaurant is famous for its delicious Dalmatian specialties and fish dishes and its terraces are surrounded by beautiful vegetation and an enchanting panorama towards the bay.
Otherwise you can choose to eat in one of the different restaurants in the bay, besides the Meneghello restaurant we highly recommend Toto's.
Wi-fi is available at the Meneghello restaurant and the service is totally free.
You can opt for a breakfast service at the Meneghello restaurant, this includes e.g. excellent Italian coffee, yogurt, a wide variety of teas, jams, honey, fresh fruit, croissants, pâtés, spreadable cheese. Both cold breakfasts and hot dishes (crepes, ..) are served. The cost, excluding drinks, is:

There are a variety of choices for breakfast; these include high-quality Italian coffee, yoghurts, a variety of fresh fruit, croissants, fresh white or whole bread, a variety of jam, honey, pâté, also a great selection of cooked breakfast. Please note that the breakfast is served daily at the Palmižana Meneghello Restaurant terrace from 08.00 am to 10. 30 am or on request a later time;
The Wi-fi is possible only at Meneghello's Restaurant and the service is free.

Please note that during July and August, the island and surrounding area has a much higher influx of day-trippers, yachts. For a few weeks, the peaceful vibe is replaced with a buzzing social scene.
Once on Palmizana, you can rent a small boat if you wish to reach more distant and secluded beaches or one of the other tiny islands of the Hvar Archipelago, recommended during the high season when the main Palmizana bay gets crowded. It's a small motorboat (no nautical license required), the cost is 500, 00 kuna / day, full tank gas included.
Taxi boats operate between Palmižana and the town of Hvar, day and night, according to their own schedule or on request. The taxis are leaving from the Yacht Marina on the north side of the island;

A member of our local team will pick up you at Hvar port with our private speedboat and in approx. 10 min you’ll get to Palmizana, where our team will help you with the luggage.
