Positive: There’s a lot of potential in this place. It’s quiet and away from the rush. The owner informed us about the ongoing renovation in the same building but did their best to keep things calm during our stay. The highlight was definitely the terrace — perfect for grilling a fish (own grill needed) and enjoying it under the moonlight with the sound of cicadas in the background. Another big plus is the restaurant within the same complex — excellent food and lovely seating under a gigantic tree. There’s also an outdoor swimming pool that the kids absolutely loved. (They may not yet appreciate that we traveled several thousand kilometers to reach the sea rather than the pool, but it’s still great that they could splash around while we finished our dinner.) The beds were comfortable. A/C worked fine. The internet connection was fair, but the signal strength varied across different areas of the apartment. The location is about 400 meters from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Free parking is available — the owner can arrange a spot if needed.

Negative: The apartment could use some renovation. Work is already underway on the level below, which should be a great improvement once completed. The shower in particular needs attention — the door is slightly loose and hangs askew. There’s no dishwasher and the area for preparing food is rather small. The coffeemaker works fine but uses paper filters, which can’t be bought in the village. A version with a permanent filter would be a nice upgrade. One of the bedrooms gets the morning sun, so blackout curtains would be a great addition. Also, the furniture should be secured to the walls to make it safer for children.
