Positive: We visited the Stella Maris Resort in September. We were presented with a view of the sea from our bedroom window and from the balcony—though that also meant we were listening to a music playlist from the bar that was right outside our apartment, next to the beach, but we didn't find it distracting, especially since we spent most of our time outside, plus at night the music stopped at about 10:30 already. There was enough available parking so that we didn't have to walk far with the luggage, which was lovely. The nearest beach was less than a minute away with a wide grassy area that stayed shaded by trees throughout the day. There were deck chairs available all along the beach (7€/day). We stayed in the building at the far end of the resort, and it was only about a 5 minute walk away from the pool (which was available to everyone, and each visitor was encouraged to use a deck chair and a beach umbrella for free). We checked in online before our arrival. When we arrived, the staff at the reception was polite and efficient, it took us about a minute to complete our check in process. They gave us a map with all the information we'd need for our stay. The cleaning staff was wonderful; every other day they made sure we had enough towels, toilet paper, etc., and they kept the front steps nice and clean. The apartment was okay, with a small safe (useful) and a little table and two chairs on the balcony (nice).
Negative: The bed I slept in had broken bed slats, so the mattress kept tilting and the bed frame creaked whenever I sat on the bed. It wasn't physically uncomfortable to sleep in, but I was never 100% sure the whole thing wouldn't collapse when I went to bed at night. Two of the light switches were a bit scary; whenever we flicked them to turn on the light, a loud noise would buzz from the electrical panel. The bed sheets were a bit stained, but it was nothing major. There were a couple of stains on the closet door and on the wall next to the shower, and when we put up the toilet seat we found a couple of brown specs, but again—nothing major.
