For an active holiday, we recommend cycling, hiking along interesting town roads, paragliding, golf, fishing on the Mirna River or searching for the famous Istrian truffles. Around Motovun there are vineyards with famous Istrian wine varieties and nearby there are numerous quality taverns and restaurants where you can enjoy famous Istrian specialities. Many interesting events take place in this town, the most famous of which is the Motovun International Film Festival, which takes place at the end of July and is attended by renowned film artists from all over the world.
