The nearby sandy island can be reached daily by taxi boat. The large Premantura National Park with its many bays and pebble beaches is unique. In the town of Pula, 12 kilometres away, there are Roman monuments such as the Arena, museums, shopping streets, many street cafés, a large weekly market and fish market.
