Dolenja Vas is a village in the municipality of Lupoglav. The parish church of Dolenje Vasa is dedicated to Saint Martin, it was built in 1808. The bell tower was built in 1919 thanks to a parish priest named Bartolomeo Persich, as written on the stone carved plaque on the bell tower. It used to be on the site of the church of St. Martin was a village cemetery. Today it is located about a hundred meters away from the parish church, next to the small church of St. John.
