Žrnovnica is a settlement located east / northeast of Split. It is part of the City of Split.
It is located at the foot of Mosor, from its southern side and the western / northern side of Perun hill, along the river of the same name.
Throughout the 17th century, it has been a story about Split since the Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build a palace on the peninsula near the great Roman city of Salona, ?where he would spend the last year of his life in peace.
