In the middle of the picturesque Istrian landscape, surrounded by enchanting nature, you will find the historic town of Buje, which has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. The location in which the town is situated guarantees a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but for those who wish to visit the attractions of north-western Istria, Umag is only a short drive away from Buje. Numerous historical sights, 45 kilometres of coastline, Venetian houses and baroque churches are just a sample of what Umag offers its visitors. Near Novigrad and only five kilometres from the coast is the newly opened Istralandia Aquapark, which is suitable for both adults and children. The highlights of the aquapark include various water slides, including the Free Fall slide and the Family Rafting slide. It is impossible not to have fun at Istralandia, as the aquapark also offers pools, restaurants and various entertainment programmes in addition to the water slides.
